What is Gone and Destroyed can be Totally Restored!!

Briefly, here are Three Keys - - -

1. Encourage yourself in the Lord: "David encouraged himself in the Lord his God" -1 Samuel 30:6.

Praise is tough when things are going wrong and when you are asking, "Dear Lord, what am I going to do?!" Praise brings God into your situation, no matter how bad it seems: "You are Holy, You Who inhabit the praises of Israel" -Ps.22:3.

I may feel like doing anything but praising - but the second I start lifting my praises to God, HE walks into the middle of my mess! He dwells in the praises of His people! Praise not only brings God into my situation but it also gives me access into the Presence of God! -Psalm 100:4
Isaiah 61:3 says that praise is a God-given garment that covers my life. That garment of praise covers my life of pain, hurt, confusion, worry, and stress, and it brings me deliverance, protection and preservation!

Praise is the believer's weapon, releasing God to do battle for me!

2. Find someone whom I trust to agree in prayer for me. That is David's story, not just in 1 Samuel 30 but throughout his life. He asked Avyatar to bring the ritual vest to him, and he inquired of the Lord - Who then assured him to indeed "Pursue - you will overtake them and recover everyone and everything."

Penetrate the camp - the passage in 1 Samuel 30 tells us that David and his followers not only attacked, but they kept fighting until the enemy was subdued and all was recovered! (verse 19)

3. Seal my recovery through giving: After all was taken back, we are told, "When David came back to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, 'Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the Lord'" -1 Samuel 30:26.

Giving - this was David's declaration of total recovery. It is a supernatural law that must be activated to bring continued blessings from God.

When Israel was delivered from Egypt, they first gave an offering - a lamb for every house!

"FIRST" - not "close second"

Mt. 6:33- "Seek FIRST God's Kingdom and His righteousness; and all of these things will be added to you."

When something comes into my hand, God is watching to see what I will do with it: pick up some food /gas /other items? Pay someone back? ??? OR- FIRST give HIM His offering, His tithe!!

If I do that, I'll be really blessed!!! -see Lev. 27:30,31 and Deut. 28:1-14, also Hebrews 7

Primary Walk with The King

As I " . . go in and out, and find pasture" (action verbs, the 2d half of wellknown John 10:9), my "walk" as a believer fulfils God's priority:
1 John 3:23,24 - "This is His command: that we believe in the Person and power of His Son Jesus the Anointed One, AND love one another, as He gave us commandment. He who keeps this command remains united with Him, and He with him."

We know the blessings of "remaining united with Him" from John 15:1-12, and (see verse 3, "Now you are pruned thru the word I have spoken to you") going back to chapter 14 to see what it was He had just said to them: vv. 10-15! Wow! Powerful!!

They say 80% of professing believers are "set;"
Only 20% or less are "in motion," John 10:9b, "walking in the Spirit" (see Gal. 5:25) and following the leadership of the Holy Spirit (see Gal. 5:18) and always displaying "the fruit of the Spirit and executing the flesh with its affections and desires" (verses 22-24)!

Announcing God's Kingdom!

Two Worlds - One Rising, One Falling

It is important, for purposes of our own destiny, that we recognize that what most people see as "the World," or natural realm, is passing away with its total malaise.

However, the good news is, another World is rising, that one day will completely collapse the other and supercede, accompanied by cosmic disturbances of a massive scale, and revelation of the One Who will rule the earth in peace from Jerusalem, Israel with "a rod of iron."
All nations will submit to His law and authority, and send annual delegations each Fall to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles - and bring back instructions for the coming year.

Regarding the top paragraph above: Each of the ten servants had been entrusted with the equivalent of 3 months' wages. One, simply did nothing with it, but just held on to it. Two others, invested it in good ventures, and received returns of 10 times and 5 times the original. The portion was taken from the one who did nothing, and was then awarded to the one who had received the most.

The King said: "To whomever has, more will be given; but from him who has not, even what he has will be retrieved."
